Ryan K. Walling

A gifted teacher, preacher and counselor, Ryan brings over 20 years of ministry experience to Bayshore. Ryan married Jessica, his high school sweetheart, in 2000 and together they are blessed to lead a family of 6 children. Ryan loves to read, discuss theology, play boardgames, watch movies, and try new restaurants. His priorities on this earth are to lead his family well, to help the church be a blessing to its neighbors, and to see King Jesus exalted among the nations.
Dr. Ron Lyles
Interim Pastor
Dr. Ron Lyles is a native Texan and a preacher’s kid. He trusted Christ as his savior at the age of 6, answered God’s call to Christian vocation at the age of 12, and began pastoring at the age of 20. Dr. Lyles retired in September of 2021 after serving 40 years as the Senior Pastor of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. He has since discovered that he is not quite ready to stop preaching and teaching. Dr. Lyles and his wife, Brenda, have been married 52 years. They have four children, and ten grandchildren.
Ben Rosenberger

Ben was born in Houston. He studied Biblical Languages and Theology at Houston Baptist University and received a Master of Arts in Theology from B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. He married Shelly in 2008 and they have two children: Luke, and Naomi. Ben has served at churches in the Houston area, East Texas, Central Texas. He has served God’s Kingdom overseas ministering to the unreached people groups in parts of Asia and Africa. Ben began his journey in ministry here at Bayshore as the youth minister, and has now returned to serve as the Senior Pastor.
